South Riding, VA – October 08, 2025 – L.F. Jennings joined members of the South Riding community to celebrate the grand opening of the area’s newest Target store. More than 200 guests enjoyed food, music from the Freedom High School Marching Band, and a live DJ in a vibrant community celebration.

The project represents nearly a year of collaboration and craftsmanship between L.F. Jennings and its partners. The ground-up retail building features masonry walls, a steel roof system with insulation and rubber roofing, and cast-in-place concrete slabs and sidewalks. L.F. Jennings served as General Contractor, self-performing both the concrete and masonry scopes.

Designed by Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects for Westbrook Properties and Target, the store blends modern design with lasting durability, establishing a new retail anchor for the South Riding community. Construction began in September 2024, with a Certificate of Occupancy issued in August 2025.
