Jennings is proud to announce that the company has been honored with multiple awards at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Metro Washington and ABC Virginia 2025 Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony. These awards celebrate outstanding construction achievements across the region and highlight projects that exemplify quality, innovation, and collaboration.

This year, L.F. Jennings was recognized for the following projects:

Wolf Trap Meadow Commons – Commercial, $13–20M
The Meadow Commons project enhances the guest experience at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, introducing new amenities that harmonize with the natural setting while elevating accessibility and comfort. In partnership with Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and Gensler.

Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria – Retail, $5M and over
This project delivered two state-of-the-art facilities: a two-story service center with advanced bays, offices, and rooftop parking, as well as a four-story sales building with showrooms, offices, lounges, and below-grade parking. In partnership with Lindsay Automotive, Simpson Development Group, and Penney Design Group.

Whole Foods Market – Falls Church – Retail/Interiors
A 56,441 SF interior fit-out across three levels, this project transformed an existing shell space into a dynamic new Whole Foods Market featuring retail, mezzanine, and structured parking. In partnership with Whole Foods Market and Rounds VanDuzer Architects.

Waldorf, MD – August, 07, 2025 – L.F. Jennings is proud to announce the grand opening of Sprouts Farmers Market at The Shops at Waldorf, marking the newest addition to Southern Maryland’s retail landscape. The ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the arrival of this fresh grocery destination, a milestone for the community and a welcome enhancement to the area’s shopping experience.

Developed by Madison Marquette and designed by Cuhaci Peterson, the new 25,000-square-foot store features a modern, single-story layout with dedicated areas for retail, food preparation, storage, and back-of-house operations. Additional spaces, including offices, a breakroom, and utility rooms, support efficient daily operations and contribute to an elevated customer experience.

As the general contractor, L.F. Jennings is honored to have delivered this high-quality project and looks forward to seeing Sprouts Farmers Market thrive at The Shops at Waldorf.

Raleigh, VA – July 31, 2025 – L.F. Jennings recently completed a 25,000-square-foot interior fit-out for Cintas Fire National Accounts, delivering a modern, functional space tailored to support the company’s operations. Completed on time for Trinity Partners, the project converted a blank white box into a fully built-out facility featuring private offices, conference rooms, break areas, and warehouse storage.

This transformation supports Cintas Fire’s mission to deliver nationwide fire protection services with efficiency and excellence. The space was thoughtfully designed to meet the day-to-day needs of their team—balancing office functionality with storage and logistical support.

The project was a true collaboration between an experienced team, including Redline Design Group as architect, Peak Systems Engineering as MEP engineer, and Kaydos Daniels Engineers providing structural engineering services. Together, the team delivered a streamlined and effective solution for a space that will serve Cintas Fire well into the future.

The project marks another successful partnership between L.F. Jennings and Trinity Partners, continuing a shared commitment to delivering excellence in commercial interiors.

Richmond, VA – July 30, 2025 – L.F. Jennings is pleased to announce the start of construction on the Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Center Renovation, a complete interior transformation of their two-story, 26,700-square-foot office space in Richmond.

Designed by Wendel and engineered by Salas O’Brien, the renovation will modernize the workspace to better support Thalhimer’s operations and enhance the employee experience. The building will be vacated during construction to allow uninterrupted progress, with re-occupancy scheduled for early 2026.

“We’re honored to be entrusted with this renovation and proud to partner with Thalhimer on transforming their workspace,” said Andrew Kowalski, Project Executive. “It’s a privilege to continue building alongside our talented design partners at Wendel and Salas O’Brien to bring this vision to life.”
