Construction crews are popping up on Carnation Street in Richmond’s South-Central District.
What’s now a patch of dust and dirt down the road from Chippenham Hospital will eventually be one of the city’s newest affordable housing projects: Beaufont Oaks Community.

The L.F. Jennings Central Virginia Team is underway with the Heights Church Expansion project in Henrico, VA.
This 40,000 SF project converts an old shopping center into a brand-new Sanctuary with a Stadium Seating design to accommodate 1,500 Church Members. Unique features of this project include raising the roof 10 feet, removing existing columns by suspending the structure from new steel trusses, and a 40’ tall curtainwall atrium entrance.
The project team includes Heights Church, INTEC Group, Inc., GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., Structura Inc. and General Contractor L. F. Jennings, Inc.
The anticipated completion for the Heights Church project is March 2024.
