Gum Spring Library and Office Building Under Construction in Stone Ridge, Virginia

FALLS CHURCH, VA-
L.F. Jennings, Inc., striving to be the preferred general contractor of the Mid-Atlantic region, is constructing another quality multi-use building. The Gum Spring Library and Office Building will bring an expansive two floor library with third and fourth floor office spaces to the Stone Ridge community. The project totals 95,000 SF with the library consisting of 40,000 SF and the remainder being office space. According to L.F. Jennings Senior Project Manager Andy Jones, “Groundbreaking ceremonies have just recently taken place. This building will enhance the already welcoming site features of the Stone Ridge residential community”.
Stone Ridge Business Park Associates, LLC is the Owner of the Gum Spring Library and Office Building.
Grimm and Parker Architects, PC of McLean has brought unique accents to this classic structure. The exterior features stone veneer, brick veneer including arched window bands, and EIFs. Octagon corner features with two story curtainwall add to the distinctive appearance. West and south elevations have sunshades on the curtainwall to reduce interior sun exposure. Well placed fabric banners further draw attention to the discerningly designed façade. Wood paneling and stone flooring in the lobby present a polished appearance to all who enter. Two elevators accommodate all visitors who will be able to access the upper floors with ease.
L.F. Jennings will be managing all the site work associated with the project. There will be plenty of well situated parking for both business and library patrons. Thoughtful landscaping will complement both the architectural style of the building and its Loudoun County location.
Work on this project began November 4, 2009. The building shell will be complete fourth quarter of 2010.
